Long life1. Description
PID sensor is widely used in portable monitors for testing volatile organic compounds or some kinds of inorganic gas.
2. Concept of design
(1) PID-GH sensor can be changed with many brands of electrochemical sensors, so it’s suitable for any portable or fixed gas detectors. PID-GH sensor is composed by a plastic shell, a removable cap on top and three pins at the bottom for connecting.
(2) The use of the pins:
*No.1 is connected with DC 3.3-5.5v and sensor.
*No.3 is connected with ground and sensor.
*No.2 is connected with signal voltage and outer device.
(3) There’s an inlet(called “sample port”) for analyzing gas in plastic cap. Under the plastic cap, there’re two filters to prevent liquid or particles from entering into sensor.
(4) This series PID sensor is composed by a micro UV lamp with the energy of 10.6eV and a PID sensing part.
