Combustible Gas Sensor
Application:
Household ammonia gas alarmsProduct characteristics:
This product exhibits good sensitivity to ammonia over a wide concentration range and boasts advantages such as long lifespan, low cost, and simple drive circuitry.Description
The MQ-K12 gas sensor uses tin dioxide (SnO2), a gas-sensitive material with low conductivity in clean air. When ammonia is present in the sensor's environment, the sensor's conductivity increases with increasing ammonia concentration. A simple circuit can convert this conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
The MQ-K12 gas sensor is highly sensitive to ammonia and is also ideal for monitoring other organic amines (such as trimethylamine and ethanolamine). This sensor can detect a variety of ammonia-containing gases and is a low-cost sensor suitable for a wide range of applications.
