The ZC2521-A catalytic combustion gas sensor operates based on the principle of catalytic combustion. It consists of a pair of sensing and compensating elements, forming one arm of a bridge circuit. When exposed to combustible gas, the sensing element's resistance increases, causing the bridge's output voltage to change. This voltage change increases in direct proportion to the gas concentration. The compensating element acts as a reference and provides temperature and humidity compensation.
